Description: Here are the details on the Audi. This was my personal vehicle from 2000-2005. Before that it was owned by my uncle who bought it with approx. 50,000 miles on it. It has been in the family for along time, but it has to go to a good home. I don’t have time to finish it, and haved moved 1 hour from where I have a facility to work on it. The radiator sprung a leak and it overheated on me one day, cracking the head. I have a fully reconditioned head ready for it. New vales, seals, everything, all it needs is to be bolted on. Yes I do have the front bumper for it, but it is cracked and it need of replacement or repair. In the five years that I owned it, I put A LOT of money and new parts into it. NEW center muffler that was run for about 1-2 months before it was parked, and the muffler has been stored inside since then. ALWAYS ran MOBIL 1 Synthetic oil and filters, European headlights, BOGE Turbo Gas Shocks on ALL four, NEW control arms all the way around, NEW rear tie rod ends, ball joints, etc.NEW POWER STEERING RACK, NEW wheel bearings, alternator, NEW HEATER CORE, and many many many other parts I am forgetting. I have ALL THE RECORDS from when I got it from my uncle at 160k. It has 230k on it now. If the radiator had not sprung a leak I would probably still be driving it with 300k. If you know anything about the Audi 5-cylinders, you know that is not an exageration. I also have the original wheels with snows on them. This car is just an animal in the snow. I was going to put it back together for a great winter car/rally car, but I need to move on.There is some rust starting to develop, but nothing structural. It just needs to be put back together and loved. The interior is dusty right now, but the leather still looks amazing when clean. I am an Audi lover, and I wish I had the time to put this one back together, but I don’t. Come rescue it, I can’t bear to send it to the crusher. I am interested in the following if you want to trade: Honda XR or XL(motorcycle), Savage ML10-II Muzzleloader or a dedicated, purpose built shotgun with rifled-slug barrel for deer, Mercedes 300D/SD diesel parts, old BMW, Norton, Triumph, BSA, Moto-Guzzi motorcycle, boat that a 25 horsepower Johnson would fit on (must have trailer). Old pickup truck? Also have a soft spot for old John Deere If you have anything along these lines let me know. As you can see, a have varied hobbies! I am asking $650, but best offer takes it home.
